What your customer sees after they order

The page after someone orders should name the items, the total and what happens next, so they are not left asking whether the order went through.

Name the items and the total

A confirmation that only says thank you sends the customer back to the chat to check what they bought. List the items, including the size or colour they chose, the delivery charge and the total.

Say what happens next

Tell them whether you confirm the order before it leaves, and how they will hear from you. If delivery usually takes a few days, say that. They should not have to message you to find out whether you received the order.

One record you can both open

Put the same details on the page and in the message you send. When they ask about an item later, you are both looking at the order, not a thread of voice notes and screenshots.

Apply for early access when you want that confirmation written from the order. We’ll email you when a place is ready.
