From a WhatsApp shop to a website
You already take orders in chat. A website is the page you send when someone asks what you have, so they can look before they message you.
Keep the conversation
WhatsApp stays the way many customers reach you. They will still ask about a size, a colour, or whether you can deliver to their city. The page does not have to answer every one of those. It has to show the work clearly enough that the chat starts further along.
Put the same products on the page
Start with the things people already ask for. Use the names you use in chat. A price, a short description and a photo are enough to begin. Add sizes and colours when you are ready for someone to choose them on the page, not only in a reply.
One record for the order
An order placed on the site arrives as one record: the items, the address and how the customer is paying. You are not rebuilding that from a thread of voice notes and screenshots.
How the customer pays
Plenty of customers will want to pay when the parcel arrives. Others will pay online, into your own account. Offer the ways you can actually fulfil, and make each order say which one it is.
A first week
- 1List the products you sell most often.
- 2Photograph them in daylight, on a plain background.
- 3Write down the cities you deliver to.
- 4Decide whether you take cash on delivery, online payment, or both.
Apply for early access when you want that page, the checkout and the order list in one place. We’ll email you when a place is ready.
